I bought 2 Creston bags. A 0F for my wife and a 15F for me. We love these bags! We use them motorcycle camping. I went with the hammock bags for the extra room they provide. Her 0F bag is notably puffer than my 15F bag. My 15F bag has almost no down on the bottom layer. We love our bags. I gave only 4 stars because I really wish the "comfort temps" were closer to the bag name. We camped in the mid-forties this last weekend (Colorado mountains) and I was cold. My wife was a little warmer. Guess we need -20F bags to be comfortable at 40F.

The only gripe I have is the stuff sack could be larger as it isn’t easy loading this sleeping bag back into the stuff sack on the trail.

The hammock compatible ultralight down sleeping bag is so comfortable. I’ve used it separately from on a hammock and I love having some extra room, since I’m a side sleeper, versus a mummy bag. This bag is warm and cozy!

Kept me warm and dry at about 23 degrees on the first day of snow in Kentucky this year!

Used this hammock sleeping bag for my first camping trip for the fall of 2022. I was worried about how warm I would stay, since my hammock is a bit long for the sleeping bag, so couldn't cinch it quite tight at the feet. But it ended up being one of the best night's sleeps I've had while camping. Plenty warm, and had no drafts despite the slight wind/rain we had that night. It was easy to set up/tear down and is light/packable.

Used mine for camping in my hammock. It kept me good and warm and was very comfortable and roomy.

Have not slept in it outdoors but I have used it over me in my bed. Very soft and comfortable.

So here’s the deal with this bag. The cinch chords are not up to the task of holding the hammock together when you have body weight in the hammock. My first couple days on the AT required me to put my puffy jacket in the foot box to keep my feet warm at night. You can tie a knot over the cinch but good luck getting it out again and it makes the hammock way too tight. No way to get a horizontal Lay. Even with under insulation froze my tail off on Springer Mountain. Fortunately this was a test run. I love the idea of one bag no top quilt bottom quilt but when put to practice felt like I was sleeping in a tunnel with a big hole in the top and a big hole in the bottom. Also the cinch for the hood broke on the first go around expecting to send this product back.

My recent purchase of my Hyke and Byke Crestone 15° Hammock Compatible Ultralight 650FP WR Down Sleeping Bag, has resulted in my absolute favorite sleeping bag. At the end of December 2021, I took my new sleeping bag hammock camping in the northern Cascades. The nighttime temperatures were in the middle teens and there was about a foot of snow on the ground. The Crestone is the first mummy-style sleeping bag I have been able to sleep on my side, this was possible due to the extra width in the shoulder area. I purchased the tall size which allowed for extra space at my feet to put my clothes. A feature that I love is the center zipper which permitted easier access, especially in a hammock. Another factor that I like about this sleeping bag is the fact that besides being hammock compatible, I can also use the bag when I tent camp. I have not tent camped with the Crestone yet, but when I do I am sure I will be just as warm and cozy. As a backpacker I appreciate the weight of my new bag, coming in at 3.2 lbs. I can honestly say that all the promises made by Hyke and Byke about this sleeping bag were fulfilled. I would recommend this sleeping bag to anyone who wants to get outdoors when the weather is cold. As a backpacking guide, I will be putting the Crestone 15° on my recommended equipment list. I do have one regret about buying this sleeping bag, I wish I had bought the Crestone 0° bag. If you are thinking about buying a hammock-compatible sleeping bag, quit thinking about it and go to https://www.hykeandbyke.com/?rfsn=6168380.999a05&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=6168380.999a05 and buy the best, warmest, and coziest hammock compatible sleeping bag on the market. Thanks, #hykeandbyke for a great night’s sleep.

Great bag! The first time I used it, it worked well on the hammock, although, it wasn't very cold outside. It's easy to pull up and down as needed. For the second use, I had my 5 year old sleep in it in a tent, and he stayed plenty warm throughout the night (low 40s). Highly recommended!

Hey I like the sleeping bag so far I have tried it on my bed. I’m 5,10” 250 lbs and if I was anymore round it would be tight! I bought the 0degree hammock style because it was bigger around and I’m glad I did! Otherwise I love that I can use it as comforter also! I’ll put another review after the elk trip!

Went kayaking on the North fork of the Payette in Idaho. I love hammock camping put the cocoon around the outside and sleep in one on the inside. Have never slept better while camping. Warm all night. In a tent with good pads the ground was still hard.

Just now had a chance to go camping. Loved it. Easy set up. Kept warm. and I had no drafts! Would purchase again!

40 degrees at night and sleeping in a hammock on top of a mountain, no problem! Get a hammock sleeping bag and you won’t be disappointed. It was worth it. I hate being cold at night. This bag kept me warm and toasty.

After my first night out I am very impressed. I was warm with an overnight low of 38 and the bag allows plenty of room to move around. The inside pockets are very deep and a great design feature for storage when hammocking. The fabric is soft and gentle against the body. Zipper is great quality, doesn't snag. The bag packed well into my 48 liter Osprey Exos, leaving plenty of room for the rest of my gear. I really have nothing negative to say about my first experience with this bag in the field.

I love it! Im 51 and ive wanted a down bag forever. I must have looked at everything on the market for several years now but i could never make a decision. Hyke and Byke has been at the top of my list for the past two years now. They werent the cheapest or the most expensive but they had what i felt was a very high quality and well made bag. A bag to be proud of that will last. Ive only had mine for 1 week. I haven't slept out in it. Another thing i liked was the ability to use as a sleeping bag and also as an underquilt. I have hammocks ive never used because i know i will freeze. So now i not only have a nice warm bag for tent but it also will allow me to venture into hammock camping. It can not only fill both roles. It fills them well. As u can tell im very happy with this bag. Its soo soft and light and fluffy. I put mine in the dryer on a delicate fluff for 20 minutes and then worked on the loft by hand for a while. And i just left it unrolled and puffed. Its really nice people. And they have been on point with the service. Ive had no problems but i like the way the purchase was followed up with clear directions and even sent them pdf. Ive never had a down bag to compare this one to but i love it and im very happy i made the Hyke and Byke family my family. p.s. im normally the jerk who never writes reviews. I wrote a review of my polaris rzr and now this bag. Dont be skeered, get this bag.

1 Bag to rule them all!
I love this bag! I went camping last weekend and it got a little cool out but I thought I would give this a go even-tough is was overkill for the night time temp. I left it unzipped but it still kept me toast warm. It was very easy to slide on my hammock without out any trouble what so ever. I was the envy of the group (They got cold in their hammocks.). I highly recommend this to anyone whom loves the outdoors. It's a must get!

Nice hammock sleeping bag
My hammock bag arrived quickly and appears to be very well made. The fabric is very tough, essentially impossible to accidentally rip. The flap at the end that covers the hole where the hammock rope goes through will keep out the cold air. Can't wait to try it!

Crestone 15°F Hammock Compatible Ultralight Down Sleeping Bag
Bought this not to long ago and wanted to wait till I’d used it some before making my review.
CRESTONE 15°F HAMMOCK COMPATIBLE ULTRALIGHT DOWN SLEEPING BAG
I love this sleeping bag!! I’ve used it now a couple times with both my tent and my hammock in freezing and above. This is the perfect sleeping system regardless if you’re a tent or a hammock person. BEST of both worlds. Cozy and warm like a mummy bag (which I can’t stand) but with just enough wiggle room to sleep normally and be able to move. Or as a under quit and cover in your hammock. Just zip it up and your snug as a bug in a rug!! Warm and cozy for the night. Super light-weight and can pack down extremely small. (Don’t put in bag just stuff it into the bottom of your pack)
